IPL 2024: Kolkata win the title for the third time

 

In the final of the Indian Premier League 2024 played in Chennai, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bat first, which turned out to be wrong and the entire team could score only 113 runs in 18.3 overs.

In reply, Kolkata Knight Riders chased down the target of 114 runs for the loss of just two wickets in 10.3 overs.

It should be noted that Kolkata Knight Riders have managed to lift the IPL trophy for the third time, previously KKR had won the IPL finals in 2012 and 2014 under the captaincy of Gautam Gambhir.
