 The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided not to appoint a vice-captain for the T20 World Cup۔

PCB says that if Shaheen was to be made the vice-captain, Babar Azam is Pakistan's authorized captain by naming him while announcing the squad.On the other hand, news is circulating on many media platforms that the selection committee had offered the vice-captaincy to fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, but he refused to accept the position.You may remember that after the defeat in the tour of New Zealand, Shaheen Afridi was removed from the leadership and Babar Azam was re-appointed as the captain.
